REACH Program

REACH Community Groups are here to offer just that! Designed to foster connection and creativity, we provide a range of options to suit various interests and schedules. Our EA Clubs host monthly, recurring meet-ups with supported, consumer-led activities that empower individuals to advocate for themselves, gain independence, and socialize with peers who share similar interests. For those looking to dive deeper, our Six-week Editions offer a comprehensive exploration of specific interests over six weeks. If you’re interested in shorter-term engagements, our Three-week Minis are perfect for exploring new hobbies or interests. Additionally, our One Day/Night Specials provide a fun and engaging way to try something new without a long-term commitment. Participants can choose groups based on their interests and age levels, including options like cooking, music, art, and more. All groups are conducted in-clinic at our West location and are kept small to ensure a personalized experience.

The DREAM Studio at Embracing Abilities is an adult educational program designed to help your loved ones develop, get ready to engage, aspire, and manifest their dreams. Students will enhance their skill sets through various projects, movement activities, games, outings, and therapy programs.

Parents Day Out

Parents Day Out at Embracing Abilities is a monthly respite program for children ages 2–16 with developmental disabilities, offering engaging, camp-style activities in a safe and supportive environment. With a 1:1 staff or volunteer ratio, children enjoy crafts, games, and social play while parents and caregivers take a well-deserved break. Waiver billing through Respite is available, with limited private pay spots for participants and siblings. Events are held one Saturday per month from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at our Avon clinic. Visit our website for upcoming dates.

Speed Dating

Embracing Abilities Speed Dating Nights are the perfect way to connect, laugh, and maybe even find a match! Open to anyone ages 18 and up—no need to be a current Embracing Abilities consumer—these events are designed to foster genuine connections in an inclusive, comfortable environment.

Each event is private pay ($20 per person) and features a series of short, guided conversations with fellow participants. After each round, you’ll note your level of interest, and if there’s a mutual match, our Programming Director will reach out after the event to share contact information.
