Each program’s age range varies based on the required skills and program type. We ask parents to review the safety and success requirements to ensure their child or loved one is suitable for the particular edition.
Each edition has a supply fee based on the program and activities involved. We work hard to keep costs low for families. Example fees include the cost of food, supplies, crafts, etc. Program fees are due at the first session.
Yes, our editions are 6 weeks long and cannot be split into shorter weekly sessions. We do offer 3-week minis that also cannot be broken down weekly. If you need more flexibility, our specials might be a better fit, as they offer options for families who can’t commit to the full 3 or 6 weeks.
Waiver services are used for each edition, and the specific category of service will be finalized once registration is confirmed. Services will be billed through Day Habilitation (1:4 ratio). We also have up to two private pay spots per edition.
Our current ratio is one Direct Support Professional or Therapist to four consumers (1:4 ratio). We do not offer a 1:1 ratio at this time.
Please visit the REACH website page (https://www.embracingabilities.com/reach-program/) to see the current courses being offered. On this page, you can review the safety and success requirements, age requirements, and course details. A registration link is available if there are any current openings.
Our team reviews all registrations for each edition. We strive to select individuals with similar abilities who would work well together. For example, if a cooking class has all young adults registered and a 6-year-old, we will hold the 6-year-old’s registration for a future session that may include younger participants.
Our editions are typically six weeks long. We will update our social media and website when a new session is available for registration.
An edition is a 6-week course that builds on the weekly content. A mini is a 3-week course that also builds on weekly content but is shorter than an edition. A special is a one-night event.
