At Embracing Abilities, we believe in a family partnership model that puts your loved one’s care first. This model empowers families to be active participants in care by giving them the option to bring on trusted individuals—such as family members, friends, or neighbors—as paid caregivers. Once eligibility requirements are met, Embracing Abilities can officially hire these individuals to join your care team. Applications can be submitted directly through our website and will be reviewed by our team for approval.

We are proud to offer the following pay rates to our Direct Support Professionals:
Scheduling is coordinated directly between Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and the client or their family.
Your hours will be determined through open communication and mutual agreement with the family you support. Please note that DSPs are not permitted to work more than 40 hours within a single workweek.
As a Direct Support Professional, your role involves supporting individuals in a variety of meaningful ways.
Your responsibilities may include planning and assisting with activities of daily living, recreation and leisure, social and communication skills, decision-making, self-advocacy, community integration, medication assistance, meal preparation, and other related services. You’ll work closely with the client and their family to develop personalized goals and encourage as much independence as possible in every task.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is typically part-time, but full-time opportunities may be available for those who support multiple clients.
At this time. we do not offer a benefits package.
All Director Support Professionals are W-2 employees.
Pay cycles are bi-weekly, with payments made via direct deposit.
All timesheets and daily documentation are submitted through our online system. You’ll receive training on how to use both the desktop and mobile versions of the platform to ensure you feel confident submitting your timesheets and visit notes accurately and on time.
